Wasabi Preview Event
Wasabi Cambridge Preview Launch Event 17.06.2015
So
as a newbie blogger I went to my first ever preview launch event at
Wasabi Cambridge this evening, before it officially opens tomorrow, 18th
of June, at Midday, where the first 25 lucky people, get free sushi for
a year! Exciting right?
So how was it I hear you all asking, my first ever blogger mixing event was pretty cool, it was lovely. I could not of asked for a better introductory event into the world of blogging.
So Wasabi Cambridge I hear you all asking.
So the event itself? My invitation came about by being a plus one, after being invited to the event by the wonderful www.rebeccarosa.com When
we first arrived we were wonderfully greeted with a glass of Prosecco
and we took our seats. At this point I looked around the room and
realised I was surrounded by so many already established bloggers, it
was all a bit intimidating, with so many followers and established
groups I felt professional and at this point, realised it is something I
want to be more involved in. The food was a selection of sushi,
including Salmon and Tuna and various other wonderful delicacies...
Pretty right? |
As Ross from friends would say, 'Salmon fish roll" |
The
night also offered a delicious offering of various Noodle dishes and
Curries, at this point I felt spoiled for choice. My favourite dish of
the night was Chicken Katsu Curry, easy to see why they serve over
12,000 portions a week and priced at only £4.95. The chicken was tender,
the spices and flavours balance each other out, washed down nicely with
the Prosecco.
The new Cambridge branch, seats over 40 people and has staffed over 30 new jobs, being one of the 42 branches, the night and location is certainly very impressive. Leaving the event happy and full, after my wonderful first blogging meet, I didnt think the night could get any better, but man was I wrong. On the way out we were given a gorgeous little goody bag containing, a £10 voucher! chocolate biscuits and an aloe vera drink.
Thank you Wasabi Cambridge, the night was a success and I shall see you in the queue tomorrow at 11am, I'm coming for you free sushi for a year!
